565 Sengu Bold is the modular sofa designed by Patricia Urquiola for Cassina. A project that incorporates the generous volumes and simple geometries of its predecessor, with all the style and quality of the Italian brand.
Sengu Bold, by Patricia Urquiola, is a seating system designed to rediscover a convivial and intimate dimension, thanks to the open forms that invite conversation. Inspired by the Japanese tradition, its welcoming seats are designed to promote physical and mental comfort. Sengu Bold stands out for its different and never conventional compositions, enhanced by the numerous variety of corner and end modules, with peninsula and chaise longue, which make this sofa perfect for decorating any type of living room. The collection is completed by a pouf and a coffee table that can be combined with the different compositions or can also be used individually. The ergonomics of the seat are enhanced by the soft fold of the backrests and armrests, a detail also shown on the back cushions, which complete the sofa.

Patricia Urquiola, Spanish designer and architect, is among the most brilliant female personalities of the contemporary design panorama. In 2001 she founded the Patricia Urquiola Studio with Alberto Zontone, dealing with product design, architecture, artistic direction and strategic consultancy. The core of her style is a fundamental principle: conceiving spaces or objects in relation to people. This approach is reflected in all of her works, considered to be design masterpieces: from the Fjord and Lilo sofas by Moroso, to the Husk and Crinoline seats and the Bend Sofa by B&B Italia; from the T-Table by Kartell to the Salinas kitchen by Boffi, just to mention a few.
