1 Inch Reclaimed Stacking Chair
1 Inch Reclaimed Stacking Chair by Emeco was designed by Jasper Morrison making a real revolution in the field of eco-sustainable design.
1 Inch Reclaimed Stacking Chair was conceived for everyday use, its design outlines a simple chair with a timeless line perfectly balanced in style, ideal to be placed in any kind of setting. Its simple form, the refined uniformity of a unique material, perfect comfort and silent grace encapsulate its highest potential. Robust and solid, it is produced from a material that not only ensures its durability, but also gives it an attractive mottled appearance: its production allows for the reuse of waste that would otherwise have been dispersed into the environment. WPP is a material produced from industrial waste polypropylene recovered and mixed with waste wood and sawdust from lumber yards, treated and made suitable for the production of comfortable, lightweight chairs such as 1 Inch Reclaimed with a versatile soul, which can be used both indoors and outdoors.

Designed by Jasper Morrison
Jasper Morrison was born in London in 1959 and graduated in Design at Kingston Polytechnic Design School. In 1986 he set up a design office in London and begins to exhibit his work in many galleries and art fairs in Europe. He worked for Vitra, Cappellini, Flos, Alessi, Mattiazzi, Samsung, Sony and Olivetti. As he mentions "the best way to live with our objects is enable them to represent us and our way of being with ease, so that they cease to be a status symbol to become good friends." But his talent is also reflected in numerous publications and in urban projects, such as the Tram Hanover for which he won the IF Transportation Design Prize and the Ecology Award. The Jasper Morrison Ltd. now has headquarters in London and Paris.
