Aïku Chair
Aïku is a collection of stackable chairs designed by Jean Marie Massaud for MDF Italia It's available in six versions of bases and wide range of finishes.
Aïku comes from the Japanese word Haiku that indicates a good poem consisting of three lines. So this collection of chairs has an architecture composed of a few essential elements, but by the great design concept. Aïku is radical yet refined, practical and comfortable, designed for both home environments but also perfect for contract and public spaces.

Designed by Jean Marie Massaud
French designer and architect. A graduate of the National School of Industrial Design "Les Ateliers" in Paris in 1990 Jean-Marie Massaud is immediately looking for synthesis, reduction and lightness. In 2000, he founds Studio Massaud and extends its activity to the architecture and development strategies. He collaborates with several prestigious companies such as B&B Italia, Axor Hansgrohe, Dior, Poltrona Frau, Lancôme and Renault. By placing the man and his natural environment at the heart of his creations, this designer adopts a limitless way to proceed and committed political and strives to make every project in a lifetime experience and an economic scenario that reconciles desire and responsibility . His work can be defined as the seamless integration between the object and the individual.
