Masters is an iconic chair in propylene designed by Philippe Starck and Eugeni Quitllet, today in a brand new “precious” version, with a metal finish. Light, exclusive and stackable, it won Good Design Award in 2010 and Reddot Design Award in 2013.
Masters joins the past and the present since it is a contemporary interpretation of three symbolic chairs, the “Series 7” by Arne Jacobsen, the “Tulip Armchair” by Eero Saarinen and the “Eiffel Chair” by Charles Eames, interwoven into a sinuous hybrid. Masters is comfortable, functional and stackable and available in a variety of colours.

The creative partnership between Philippe Starck and Eugeni Quitllet has produced a series of iconic furniture pieces and objects defined by lightness, transparency, and innovation—an aesthetic that reshapes the language of contemporary design. For Kartell, this collaboration has led to bestsellers such as the Masters chair and the Tip Top and Top Top table collections, expressions of a design vision that blends advanced technology, refined formal research, and a poetic interplay of solids, voids, and fluid silhouettes.
